Pokémon Conquest is a 2012 tactical role-playing video game developed by Tecmo Koei and published by The Pokemon Company and Nintendo for the Nintendo DS. The game is a crossover between the Pokemon and Nobonuaga's Ambition video game series.

Core Gameplay & Setting

• The Ransei Region: The game is set in a feudal Japan-inspired land divided into 17 kingdoms, each themed after a specific Pokémon type.
• Turn-Based Strategy: Unlike the main series' 1-on-1 battles, this game features grid-based tactical combat. You move units (Warlords and their Pokémon) across diverse battlefields with varying terrain, obstacles, and interactive elements like lava or traps.
• Warlords and Warriors: You play as a young Warlord, recruiting other historical figures—based on real figures from the Sengoku period like Oda Nobunaga—and their Pokémon partners to join your army.
• The Link System: Instead of standard leveling, Pokémon and Warlords share a "Link" percentage. Increasing this link through battle and training improves their stats and can eventually lead to both Pokémon and Warlord evolution.
